Polyvore. Yes, please.

   I can't hold it in any longer. I'm addicted. I have an illness. My cousin Natalie introduced me to my newest weakness the other day. I sometimes think I'm blood related to HER and not, in fact, her husband (who is my 1st cousin). Bravo, Nat. Bravo.


   Polyvore is the site where all the amazing fashion bloggers I follow assemble their goodies! It's all the hats, purses, shoes, earrings, skirts, pants and blazers in ONE  place. It has an easy drag and drop tool to make you create the most amazing fashion "scenes". I added a gadget to the right ---------->
that actually shows you my latest diabolical  creative madness. I can't stop though. If you like fashion in any way shape or form...or wonder how Autumn would dress if she wasn't poor, go check me out over there! You can follow me and see what else I've done. believe me when I say there's plenty to see. Methinks I'll occasionally share my creations here as well. Addicted.

Emmy Loves

    I missed the Emmy Awards. I was at my adorable cousin's 14th birthday party and I told myself to tune in when I got home. I just plain forgot! Apparently my brain can only hold so much info at once. My serenade of "Stay" by Lisa Loeb to the birthday girl clouded my brain. I may have missed the awards but luckily every living and breathing news station has recaps available for duds like me who "forgot". Modern Family sweeped that B. As it should.

   All that being said I need to draw attention to the most important part of the awards...any awards show, really. The red carpet. I have a need to "rank" things, ever since I was a kid.  I like to pick my favorites and rank them downward. It's Monday and I thought it would be fun and mindless to share my favorites and least favorites. All photos from people.com.

#1. Gwyneth Paltrow. She looks stunning. I love the dress, it's different and it's very "her" but racier. My Dad hates her. Sorry Dad.

2. Emily Blunt. I'm not a huge fan of hers. Probably because she always looks bored. But I just love this dress and I think it looks elegant on her bored body.

3. Heidi Klum. Everyone loves Heidi, don't deny it. I think this dress is SO fun and I applaud her for wearing it. She's a fashion mogul. Embrace it.

4. Julie Bowen. Don't like her much. After that whole "I only wanted one kid and ended up with 2" debacle. Read and judge here.   But guess what? She's rocking this dress like it's her job. I guess it kind of IS her job...

5. Elisabeth Moss. So now that I'm addicted to Mad Men I think she's the cat's meow. She doesn't look like everyone else, which is refreshing. She always wears very classic and old world fashion-style gowns and I feel like if I was famous I would want her stylist dressing me.





I feel better now.
